Want to pick up your order? Use code: LOCALPICKUP to remove shipping fee and we will email/text you when your order is ready to pick up! We will place your order in our cabinet in front of our house.

Turn around time:

We aim for 3-5 business days maximum as our turn around time, not including shipping time. Most often, we are shipping within 1-2 business days. Flat rate shipping of $7.5 applies to U.S. orders only (with free shipping on orders over $35.00).

Sales & Discounts:

We occasionally run sales and/or offer ongoing discounts. We only honor one discounted price at a time. Thank you!

Return Policy: We do not accept returns on orders for products unless physical damage occurs to the product during shipping. You must immediately report damage to us when you receive the product so that we may file an insurance claim with the carrier. You will be reimbursed minus shipping when we receive the damaged goods. Please contact us if there is any problem with your order.

How Is Soap Made?

Here at Faerie Made we make our soap via the cold process method. What does that mean?

What it means is that we take a fat (in our case vegetable oils and nut butters) and combine with an alkali solution (sodium hydroxide aka lye and water), to make soap. Of course, here we add more than that. We also add pure plant based essential oils, clays, herbs and botanicals, milks, honey, mineral pigments and on ...

After combining the oils, lye and liquid, we blend the solution adding our additives until we hit "trace" which means it is emulsified and ready to pour into the mold.

We cover the molds, let sit over night then the next day we cut into logs and further into bars. We then let them sit for weeks before wrapping to sell.

That's the easy way of stating it.
